Ok, you are not really an idiot, but I needed to make a strong case about how I feel about this subject. Did it work?
One of the main reasons The Shipper was started was to help people find legitimate dropshippers, and avoid wasting money with any and all of the idiot scam artists (that call them self "product sources") that are online!
Here is my very first rule of thumb, and its a pretty simple one - If you can walk into your local Wal-Mart and find a product cheaper there, then your supplier is WASTING your time and my advice is to - RUN!! ALSO, something else to look out for - If you are working with a supplier that is selling their own products
online, and not just distributing them to dropshippers like yourself,
errrg.... there may be a problem. Who do you think is always going to
win the price war? As they say in the Monopoly game, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars! Just run the other way and leave them like a bad habit.
You may have spent a long time to find a supplier with a specific product that was willing to work with you, and you don't want to let them go. I can understand that, but there are other suppliers out there, trust me, lots of others! In fact, better ones, that will give you better prices so you can actually have a profitable home based business. Here is something to think about; How good will the supplier seem to you in 6 months because you have not made one sale because your prices are to high?
Most of these types of suppliers nail you with an application fee that is pretty stiff because they know you are never going to make them money. They have to try and make money somehow I guess. Do your best to avoid "so called" dropshipping companies like these, and when you are ready to learn how to find legitimate dropshippers, The Shipper is offering a Free 7 day trial of our product sourcing membership.
