I actually received this question as a series of questions, so I will go ahead and show you the exact question that was asked. It is a great question, just to long to put in a title.
What are the different ways to seal the deal with a dropshipper? - Do you fax in the paperwork, get from web site, or do you email them? How do different suppliers work with you from the start once you have found them?
Let me address each specific question:
- What are the different ways to seal the deal with a dropshipper? Once you have found a supplier through The Shipper, you can contact them through any of the forms of contact we have provided for you. If you found a supplier that is not a part of our product sourcing database, then you want to follow whatever instructions they have on their website. If they have an online application to fill out, then fill it out completely. If they give phone numbers you can call and follow up as well. An of course you can always email them with any questions you have.
- Do you fax in the paperwork, get from web site, or do you email them? Yes, to all of the above in regards to suppliers listed in The Shipper. Each supplier will let you know exactly what they need from you. I would just call them up and ask them what you need to do to get started selling their products.
- How do different suppliers work with you from the start once you have found them? I think this question is a mix of the above two, but you really just need to give them all of the information they are asking for. Most of the legitimate dropshippers I have found online require an application. Once you have filled out the application (and are approved), they will give you access to their products, images, and pricing! That is where they fun starts for you with adding products!
Hopefully this gives you a better idea of where to go once you have found the supplier. The best advice I can give you is to simply talk to the supplier and ask them what they need from you. Tell them what you want, and they will tell you what they want. It really is that simple!
